Terms of Use

Last updated September 2026

These terms cover this website. They do not cover a management agreement or a tenancy agreement. Those are separate documents, and where they differ from this page, they win.

Rental listings

Listings are drawn from our management system and updated several times each weekday. A property can be rented between updates, and details can change.

A listing is information, not an offer. Nothing on this site creates a tenancy or reserves a property. A tenancy begins when a written agreement is signed.

Information here is general

We write about tenancy law, rent increases and property management because owners and tenants ask us about them. It is general information about British Columbia, not advice about your situation, and it is not legal, tax or accounting advice.

Where we describe the Residential Tenancy Act, the Act itself governs. For advice on your own circumstances, speak to us directly or to a lawyer. The Residential Tenancy Branch and the Tenant Resource & Advisory Centre both publish independent guidance.

Availability

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply here.
